Leanne works as an Editor in the public sector and joined Horsham Coworking in 2025. After continuously working from home, every day started to feel the same, and she noticed her productivity slipping along with it. She knew it was time to mix things up, so she decided to give coworking a try.
We asked Leanne about her experience so far, and here’s what she told us:
Q. What was your biggest concern about joining?
A. Walking into the room for the first time. I guess that ‘first day at school’ vibe never leaves you…
Q. What’s it actually like working here?
A. Productive! Having a desk within an office seems to instantly make me feel more organised, efficient and capable. Changing your environment (it was the dining room table) works wonders. Having conversations with other people breaks the day up, and I find it really interesting to hear about what other people do for a living in fields totally unrelated to my own.
Q. What’s surprised you most?
A. That I’ve adapted to a new working routine here so easily. Taking the plunge and trying it out has worked wonders.
Q. What does a good day here look like for you?
A. Parking out of town so I can get some steps in walking to the office (still flirting with the idea of cycling in…) A productive day of work, with a lunch time mooch in town.
