Horsham Coworking provides flexible, shared workspace in Horsham town centre for freelancers, remote workers, and small businesses. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the space and apply to all members.
Membership and Access
- Membership types, pricing, and access levels are published on the Horsham Coworking website and form part of this agreement.
- Unless otherwise stated, access is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.
- Desk use and workspace allocation depend on the membership selected and availability on any given day.
- Membership provides a revocable licence to use the space and does not create a tenancy, lease, or any exclusive right to occupy any specific desk or area.
Use of the Space
Horsham Coworking is a shared, open-plan working environment. Members must use the space respectfully and professionally at all times. This includes keeping noise to a reasonable level, taking calls considerately, maintaining a clean workspace, and treating other members, guests, and staff with courtesy. Horsham Coworking reserves the right to determine what constitutes disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour.
Internet and Facilities
Superfast fibre broadband, meeting rooms, printing, and refreshments are provided for business use only and are subject to availability and fair use. Horsham Coworking does not guarantee uninterrupted access to services and accepts no liability for any loss of data, business interruption, or connectivity issues.
Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms must be booked in advance using the designated system. Members must use rooms fairly and leave them clean and ready for the next user. Horsham Coworking reserves the right to impose additional charges or restrictions in cases of excessive, inappropriate, or repeated misuse.
Guests, Children and Pets
Guests must be accompanied at all times and remain the responsibility of the hosting member. Children and pets are permitted only by prior agreement and must not disrupt the working environment. Horsham Coworking reserves the right to withdraw permission at any time.
Payment and Billing
- Membership fees are invoiced in advance on the 1st day of every month and are payable at the start of each billing period. Members must ensure prompt payment via standing order or invoice settlement.
- If payment is not received within 5 days of the due date, Horsham Coworking reserves the right to suspend access to the space until payment is made. If payment remains outstanding after 14 days, membership may be terminated with immediate effect and any outstanding balance will remain payable.
- Horsham Coworking reserves the right to charge reasonable administrative fees for repeated late payments.
Cancellation and Changes
- Membership runs on a rolling monthly basis and renews automatically.
- Cancellation requires one full calendar month’s notice, where possible, given by email to: hello@horshamcoworking.co.uk.
- Horsham Coworking reserves the right to amend pricing, membership structures, opening hours, or access arrangements at any time, with reasonable notice.
Liability
- Members use the space at their own risk and are responsible for their own belongings at all times.
- Lockers, where provided, do not constitute secure storage.
- Horsham Coworking is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property, or for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business or income.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to this, Horsham Coworking’s total liability shall be limited to the membership fees paid in the previous month, to the extent permitted by law.
Health and Safety
- Members must comply with all health and safety guidance while using the space.
- Any hazards, incidents, or concerns should be reported promptly.
- Members must not use equipment or facilities in a way that could cause harm to themselves or others.
Termination
Horsham Coworking reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership immediately, without notice, in the event of serious breach of these terms, non-payment, or behaviour that negatively impacts other members or the operation of the space.
In such cases, no refund will be due for any unused portion of the membership period.
Changes to Terms
Horsham Coworking may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the website. Continued use of the space constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
