Mark works as a Software Developer at RedSky, which makes ERP and accounting software for the construction industry, and he’s been part of Horsham Coworking for over two years. He was used to working in an office, so working from home felt too isolating, which encourage him to decide to give coworking a try. Outside work, Mark runs his own hypnotherapy practice and loves to travel, usually with a camera in hand. You can see some of his work on his photography website.
We asked Mark about his experience so far, and here’s what he told us:
Q. What’s it actually like working here?
A. I enjoy it. Even though everyone is doing there own thing and it has a community feel.
Q. What surprised you most?
A. There’s lots of different people that work here, all of various ages and with different jobs.
Q. What does a good day here look like for you?
A. Freshly brewed coffee and some toast! The kitchen is very handy.
Q. AI or not AI?
A. I’m undecided, it’s hard to forecast where it will end up. Even AI can’t answer that one, or perhaps chooses not to!
Q. Local restaurant or pub you’d recommend to fellow coworkers?
A. Anchor Tap or the Black Jug for food.
Your own work, with good company
Mark’s experience shows that working independently doesn’t have to mean working alone.
